Hi to all, i am going to re-furb the slight de-lamination on the newly brought/drilled alloys i have got, the delamination is only on the polished/laminated part especially around the stud-holes. So what i am going to do is get the lacquer of off the raised area with a rubber block and wet and dry to get down to the alloy, so as to keep the original lines, then mask-up the area.

Etch-prime it, apply a coat of primer, then colour, after this i am going to re-mask just outside the area and apply a coat or two of lacquer.  Am i on the right road, does anyone have any thoughts on the subject.

                                          any replies greatly appreciated
