Hi All
Will this compresser 3hp, 230v 1-phase motor run air tool ok or do
I need a big machine a friend at work is sell all his old air tools to me

It depends on the CFM cupic feet per minute any airtools will usualy have a lable telling you what they need. if the tool needs 8cfm and your comp produces 7cfm then you will use your reserve in the tank very quickly but if your comp can deliver 14cfm and you have a large reserve then no probs. your comp sounds like my portable its ok for spraying if you take your time and will run an air ratchet but wont power a DA sander. I have another larger comp fixed in my shed and I can link them together to give even more volume. the small comp is great for tyres cleaning/drying components, small spraying jobs and an air ratchet and stapler/nailer makes maintainance and interior repairs much easier.

Just get the wolf catelogue they do a 3hp v twin motor 14cfm com 50L
I think this will do the jobs price of £219.00 + 5 piece kit 14.99 p+p

This should do most things but might still have probs with a da sander but things like air ratchet(greatest invention ever)will be no probs See if you cen find a da that runs at about 8-10 cfm I think Sealy do one ps Wolf tools are excellent I have a welder comp and electric sander all brill
