are they the 16 inch ones??
if so then they will fit direct with only the need to remove the small lip that holds the centre cap in..

WHY T3's.... because they are just so adictive, and having one just aint enough

Yes they are the 16" ones, so do i need to get the inside machined out before i can fit them? or is there a diy way of doing it?

its not that hard to do diy..
when you look at where the cap should go there is a little lip.. (its go a notch out of it)
if you have got a round bit of tube and a hammer you can break most of the lip out, then the remaining edge can be cleaned off with a file or one of vairous drill bit atachments you can get from placed like B&Q
to get a nice smooth finnish you can use a flap wheel (one of these http://bhinone.farnell.com/jsp/search2/browse.jsp?N=401+1000018&Ntk=gensearch_001&Ntt=Roebuck&Ntx=&gclid=CLHDlsGU95ICFQgKGgod5T0BFg )

Ok after looking at them I know what you mean, however does that mean I will lose the use of the centre caps?
If so is the away round, ie using a 6 or 10mm spacer etc?
Cheers for the help.

I run cosworth wheels (purchased from t3adict) and got them fitted at brickwerks. centre caps won't fit as the centres stick out front and rear, but they look fine to me.
Mine have got spacers, but the van was lowered 50mm at the same time, so could have had something to do with that. Baxter's the man, so if he says it needs a spacer that's good enogh for me!

Hi, I am also interested in fitting granada cosworth wheels. I have tried to read as much about it as possible cos its all pretty new to me. The ones I like are 16 inch and I will have to get the tyres seperate and thought i'd get 215x55x16 97v. I have heard they go on without spacers so that will keep the cost down.
I have read that the bolt holes are quite big so I guess I may need new wider nuts. Could anyone please tell me exactly what I need to buy to fit these wheels and where I can get them from (links would be fantastic)? Any help would be most appreciated. Thank you Harry |

I had Granada wheels on me old bus, used 5 or 6mm spacers on the front, the rears dont need spacing but the studs arent very long, you can get away with it, i did for the 4 years i had van, but longer studs would make it easier.

Hey Harry, Thanks for reply, you definatly only need the extended bolts on the back, I have two sets of wheels, so if you are interested in buying a set just let me know, I can even bore the centre cap out if you dont want to run spacers etc, good luck with whatever you decide mate. keep dubbing. |

If your not going to use spacers or centre caps then you dont need longer rear studs.

hey automotivewizards did you get my pm? i am interested in buying some, send me a message with some details and we can sort it out. These wheels seem the way to go especially when your a skin flint like me and want to make the van look good for as cheap as possible! :) Not using spacers etc. sounds like a far easier option.
I would love some balck wheels with polished rims but I dont think my wallet will allow it! |
