Just finished converting the gas cylinder from the original US spec tank to the larger European one from Mr Eastfalia which I picked up at Dubfreeze.
First thing I noticed was the huge difference in size: It also has a nice dial and an off take for a BBQ/patio heater/blowtorch. Because it was bigger it meant the gas pipes could not remain in situ. Also the US tank had a 1into2 junction immediately after the regulator and two pipes ran into the van. After several abortive attempts and too many trips to the local heating supplies company for metric pipes, unions, olives, etc, today we have cooking facilities in the van . Next job is to power up the fridge so may be re reading Andy's thread on refurbing fridges shortly. |
