It's a pain as the filter is on the n/side inner wing almost under the bulkhead.

Once you find it it's easy enough but still a pain.

Do you need to bleed the fuel after changing filter or is it self bleeding.

No it should be fine, fill the filter with fuel, just keep it cranking over and it should fire.
