Hi mud lovers,Smile

Started work on the syncro now.

I bought some 15" merc wheels and tires from CJ.

Went to put them on yesterday and they wont go on.

I think they will require 6mm spacers and longer bolts etc.Can some clarify this as i thought they were a straight swap.Confused

If they do require spacers / bolts, who do i get them from and what sort of price am i looking at.

Also does anyone know if i can get AT tires for my spare carat wheels.

Cheers guys

Have a look in the centre of the wheel, it should have the wheel size and offset there.

Something like 15X6J, ET 31.

Sorted that problem only to get another Mike, you were right about not getting into fourth much.Smile

Have at present the 1.6td engine in with the 4.57 diff and 15" merc wheels.

The van is slow to pick up and it does'nt like any kind of an incline in top gear.LOL

Must say the van rides the bumps nicely with the 15" AT tires on at slower speeds but gets a little bouncy when it gets to 70mph on the carriage way.

Time for the TDi transplant and the taller gears fitted me thinks, pronto.

Hows the 2.5 tdi going then Mike.
