Recently just fitted an AEF engine and all has gone pretty well.  Was doing some tidying up on the engine yesterday and just as I was finishing I noticed that coolant had suddenly started leaking out.

Have traced it back to a hole just behind the pulley on the water pump.  Managed to get a mirror in there to see it and looks like maybe a blanking screw or plastic bung has come out? You can see inside the casting. The hole doesn't look like its threaded or has appeared due to something breaking. The leak itself isn't massive but it certainly isn't right.  Its only leaking every couple of seconds or so and actually seems to vary the rate in which it comes out.  Also noticed this part of the pump seems pretty warm.

Had a good look round under the van and couldn't see any bung etc which had fallen out. Anyone know of a bung which is fitted to the pump????

Picture below should explain it a bit better I hope!
