Looked fine on Reg`s `van last weekend  Van was lowered as well by 45mm AVO kit (Baxter Enterprises fitment), with no issues, am I missing something?

Would that not move the wheels further OUT in the arches ? (away from the suspension arms and towards the arch lip ?) Didn`t seem to be any clearance issues on the `van, the rims weren`t stoopid wide though, think he was running 185 size tyres so maybe a 6J rim?

Yes the low ET would mean the wheels would be further out towards the arches but it's not really about the clearance issue..it's the low ET that will put extra strain on the wheel bearings.
