PD? or TD?
1.9 PD's are from later engined models and stands for "Pumpe Duse"
(basically means each injector is like a small fuel pump and injects the
diesel under very high pressure like 300 psi or somewhere near that)

These are very hard to fit to a T3 as they are electronically controlled etc
and it's difficult to get all the bits you need to fit one hence it's very
expensive as you need ecu's wiring loom's etc

The easiest fit for a diesel (unless you opt for the 1/6td thats originally
fitted) is an AAZ 1.9 TD From early nineties golfs, passats, vento's etc
(this is what i'm fitting to mine as we speak very similar to the 1.6 but
more torquey and considered better suited to the t3
Hope i've helped and Welcome to the site

You would'nt want to test that injector at 32000psi. LOL

Hope that's a typo.

I imagine no one will ever see one working as its operated by the camshaft

The camshaft only generates the pressure, its triggered by the ecu.
