mercs have radius not tapered fitting (or the other way round) anyway you get my drift? as it happens i have a bag load of merc studs somewhere ..... Edited by cjtommy |

hopefully mine are correct ones , someone emailed me a while back and im pretty sure they went straight on with standard nuts/bolts. will takle one off tomoz and try for size!

In reality you could use the VW ones as they are both radiused, but the radius that VW use, and the radius Merc use are different.

cheers baxter! just got bored and went out and tried it with various types of tipex/copperslip etc etc to see how much contact area there was , VW ones appear ok . will rear wheels fit on rear brake drums ok ? ie avoid drum locating bolts ?
