Hi, does anyone know if it is possible to use the auto box from a T3 with a TDi engine or will I need to convert to manual?

Cheers

I assume this will be the same as a standard petrol or diesel box ratio wise. If it is it wont be worth doing imo without changing the gearbox ratio's, the tdi engines end up reving to high to maintane good speed with a standard 4.57 ratio. The 4.57 is the highest standard ratio you can get in a manual box. Would'nt like to hazard a guess at what the costs maybe involved for converting an autobox, assuming it had a 4.57 final drive or equivielent to start with.
