Have acquired some nicely refurbed Merc 8 X 16 eight hole S class alloys with P6000`s. Before buggering about with drillling out the 12 mm holes to 14mm to enable proper fit check for bolts etc I`m wondering if they are simply too wide for the front anyway. ie with 41 mm offset I estimate they`ll need 20mm spacers for suspension clearance - this will take th em just a bit outside the arches.....a bit, I think. Are these simply too big. Should I be looking for a set of 16 X7.5 instead.

Any ready to go nice wheels out there.

Not that experienced in wheel stuff. Could anyone tell me if I`m talking shizer or am infact on the road to blingwheelworld?

Nice

Have you checked out the Wheel Forum, along with the very handy fitment guides here at the Brick yard?

I had merc 8x 15's with et 41 on mine and only needed 10mm spacers at the front and none at the back, admittedly I did put 10mm on the back too so the track was the same front and back and they fitted fine. Offer yours up to the front, its a case try and then measure or make up a temporary shim.

I`ll have another gimp through the wheel section. Oh its to fit a T3.

The 10mm spacer info sounds promising. Sounds like I may have to get them drilled for 14mm clearance and offer them up.

Anywhere in Bristol that does this sort of machining to a good standard.
