Looks like a right hand conversion ? as layout and rear slider is per left hand drive??

still nice for the older generation (like my mum) who won't drive a left hand, so you have the quality and perfect layout of a westfalia and the gearstick in the right hand (left hand),

Don't know how insurance company would like it, like lpg conversions carried out by proper firms (certified) How many cars are converted to righthand drive therfore warrant companies being certifed to carry out conversions

Almost certain that it was a left hander but they converted it to a right hander because the interior is a very good looking fit and also if you look at the side the sliding door is on.

A goblin is for life, not just for christmas!

It looks like a converted LHD body to me.

RHD bodies had the sliding door slider cover panel on both sides

Could it be a Mosaik? I'm not sure, as it has a flat roof in the rear, so it appears it was ways intended to be a camper, but it has no box seat, and a cooker with no controls on the front, both Mosaik traits I believe.

I saw that RHD Westy and heard one guy talking about saying it was
originally a Reimo then converted into a Westy, which surely means its a
pretend Westy?

I can't see why some people get all hung up about driving left hand drive?
After all its quite fun and besides you sit high up you have a birds eye view
of the road in front of you!

The compromise on having the best quality camper conversion is left hand
drive and thats worth living with if you want to get long term use from your
camper!

The one for sale at Vanwest was a chap we know. He always seems to find unusual vans to sell. Didnt get much of a chance to look round it though, as it was peeing it down and i was wet enough already!

Window wipers are on the right side for RHD though, lot of aggro to change that front middle panel and shift the steering etc all over

The dead give away is the sliding door is on the wrong side for a RHD bus. LOL

LHD bus with a mix and match mosaic interior, cant be sure of the roof as no pics, but could be either. But suspect it is a mosaic roof.

If it was'nt it would have come out of the factory with a flat roof, so should have had all the LHD westy interior not a mosaic cooker unit.

Would luv to see a pic of the floor pan where it has been cut  for the steering coloum, then there's the moving the fuse box and wiring over.

Buyer beware. Ouch

you dont have to change the front panel. VW used LHD panels and just used plastic spacers for the wiper positions...

same as that van...

It looked very tidy for the year, but personally I would prefer a LHD version
as everyone in the know expects a Westy to be a left hooker!

Nearly believed you then, the wiper stems are on the RH side for a RHD van and on the left side for a LHD van, just looked in bus park. Confused
