I just purchased a set of 15" standard alloy mercedes wheels
they are 12mm holes centres

Require front and rear studs to fit these wheels
but the original wheel studs are 14mm
my wheel studs pictures

My alloys
do I have to modifiy the wheel fixing holes to 14mm
smaller stud is standard vw 14mm and longer stud is our standard mercedes studs 12mm
Wheel clamping angle surfaces are different

Can i just buy front studs 14mm to go into the disc then 12mm to go through the wheel with 12mm nuts?

And the rear can you just get 12mm studs which fit through the hub which the hub diameter will be larger than 12mm which you knock into the hub with nuts
because i don't like the idea of drilling the wheels holes out to 14mm holes if i have to modifiy the wheel  i will

I have never done this before so please can someone advise me on the best way to fit these wheels.

I will purchase the parts from yourself if you sell them.

Many Thanks
Bruce

you need to get a 14.5 or 15mm drill and drill the bolt holes out... then if you need spacers you will need longer front bolts (or a stud conversion) and longer rear studs..

if the holes in your wheels are for a radius (rounded) bolt seat you need nuts/bolts to suit newer vw as these are the same.

or if you wheels are fot a taper type bolt then you will need to get bolta to match them but of course in 14mm (1.5 pitch thread)

WHY T3's.... because they are just so adictive, and having one just aint enough
