VW diagnostic scanner

   I need to buy a diagnostic scanner so that I can reset the service warning after oil changes.  Other things as well.
Can anyone give me an idea of which unit is best and most useful.  I gather it should be CAN bus compatible and suitable for later VWs (my bus is a 2005 T5).
Is it possible to get one that can be used to change the CAN bus settings (like for the night-heater or electric windows) as well?
Any information will be gratefully received. Thanks.

	You don't need the scan tool to reset the service light on your T5 (although doing it without will only set the indicator to fixed service regime) Also, the T5, although a CAN bus vehicle uses a k wire diagnostic system. Don't expect to be able to reprogram th enight heater though (Haven't we discussed this before??) Probably the best system is VAG COM which is great if you have a laptop.
