   Can anyone recomend a company that supplies good quality recon diesel engines . I am after a 1.6 td jx . I have tryed just kampers , vw heritage but think they are expensive is this the going rate or are the prices inflated due to the scene where prices seem to be going stupid on every thing .

	Vege engines, about �1600. You generally get what you pay for.

	Just out of interest Simon, do the Vege engines come complete with reconned fuel pump, turbo, injectors etc? Or do you need to swap all the ancillaries over from your old motor?

	Mine is an Ivor Searle (who? that's what I said!), sourced through my local Partco for �1377 inc VAT. This included cylinder head, block etc. but not diesel pump or turbo. Also got a new clutch while I was at it. You get an unlimited mileage 12 month warranty. You can get it serviced anywhere as long as they stamp the book. Had mine just over a year now and 10k miles and it's been fine. www.ivorsearle.co.uk was going to get a vege but they had a months wait to get one

	Vege comes with pump, injectors, timing all set etc.

	ive just fitted a complete new VW jx for a customer �4,200 plus �600 surcharge on old unit,lot of money but everything is new not recon,cj.
