OK...I have found a replacement bellhousing off here  . . .but the metal collar that fits to it facing inward (the one with the (oil return?) thread cut inside,) has had some damage.

Does this matter? Can it be replaced? Where can I get the replacment part? And; How is it replaced (I don't have a press, but have hamemrs of various sizes! )?

Cheers,
Dan

Hi, don't know if it matters as the damage on yours seems to be slight.

If they are available I would replace as a precaution.

Remove the thrust bearing collar inside the bell housing (it is held by 3 M6 bolts), pop out the seal and then tap the damaged bush/collar out from the diff side. You do not need a press, it is not that tight.

Regards
