My doka was converted from 1.9 wbx to 1.9 tdi by some P.O. The converters' used the fuel tank from a bus, wich has the intake for the filler tube/hose low on the tank. On a pickup the filler is in front of the rear wheel and the filller tube is routed in front of the casing for the rear spring, with the intake on the tank rather high up. How are the filler tubes fastened to the tank? On my doka, the tube goes on the outside of the spring casing and in a u-bend down to the intake. Today the tube (mine is rubber) came loose and spilled about 50 litres of diesel. Now I can't seem to get it fastened. What to do? |
