I recently bought my T3. Looking at the breaks today I am wondering if i just need to changes the pads and brush them or replace it completely :


What do you think ?

I would just change them,clean the carriers up so the pads are free to move as you will not be in there again for a long time,also worth a look at the wheel bearings as your there anyway

I'd do a full re-build mate, there are signs of grooving on the inner disks surface, and the rubber cover on the caliper is shagged. It's there to keep dust and water out, and prevent the calipers seizing up. Parts are cheap enough and if the calipers seize it's a twat to get them working again if at all.

Discs look almost new, clean the calliper up and refit the rubber cover properly, or replace it if you can’t , can’t see the pads clearly enough
