Hi all

Bit confused over what tyres to get for some RR 18 (8J 53 offset) wheels

Many are saying 255/45, some 245/45 and few at 235/50. Im more interested in comfort.

Currently fitted them as is with their 255/60 tyres which need changing asap. Even though I cant see the tyre touching the arch at all, I'm getting a scraping sound from the offside rear i think - around corners and over bumps so not driving until I have replacement tyres ready

According to this site, 215 to 245 will fit, with 225 and 235 the recommended sizes, and 255 is too wide.  I'm thinking the 245 will be slightly more comfortable due to having more air volume.  I can't help you with scraping fitting issues.

Thanks, went with  235/50 in the end. Recommended for up to t30, then the 255 should have 255/45 ive been told. Anyway, lovely ride
