Hi Andy, do you still have this or have you scrapped it now?
I could do with the air filter housing and all the pipes if you still have them and if they are any good as the sports air filter mine had when I bought it sounds great n' all but it was giving the missus a headache on long journeys!
Thanks,
Trevor

Will be going soon mate gotta cut the sockets out, gaiter I have is split in a few places.
Could probably be repaired with liquid rubber but that stuff isn't cheap.

Yes, there's no other way to get them over here since none of the trucks sold here had them.

Just noticed you are in the USA, a quick guess at size and weight and shipping would be £25-£30.
Won't know for sure until I've removed them but are you sure it's worth it.

Yes mate both, one has a chip in the corner but not on the lense part, put the chip at the bottom and you'd never know. Is it just the lens or do you need the whole unit.

Washer bottle is off, was still full so good condition.
So far the following are spoken for:-

Rear louvre window
Rear light clusters
Front grille
Headlights & Surrounds
Door buttons
Air grille below radio
Rear bump stops for doors
Clamps for engine cover
Surrounds on steering column
Coolant expansion bottle.

Removing parts to order atm, and giving you guys first pick.
If I start removing parts to sell then it will be arsebook or fleabay, which ever is quickest.

Mirror arms are off, will supply new self tapping bolts for the top hinge if I can find the box, otherwise old ones can be re-used. For £5 a side can strip, treat, prime and paint matt black if you like. Mirror glass is mint.

Parcel size is 55H, 35W, 20D, weight 3Kg. Interparcel quote £5.82 by Collect+ if I drop it off but only £15 cover. £100 cover is £14.10. Have a look, see if you can get cheaper.

Such a shame to see an LT like this broken up for parts, at least its helping keeping others alive.
If I didn't have a beetle engine to rebuild and an LT high top to rebuild, I would be happy to take this on as a project.LOL
Quite like the original height and pop-top combination....

I'm also in need of a windscreen washer bottle...Embarrassed

Guys I'm working on removing the parts, got a few screws etc that need careful drilling out to avoid damage. Going to remove the indicator and light clusters at the same time, these and other parts could be difficult to find but I haven't checked. If there are really difficult parts to find then let me know and I'll advise condition etc.

P.S. Someone was asking for handbrake parts, but can't remember who.

I've been gonna work on the LT for ages but the truth is the T3 and RR are worth good money restored, LT isn't. Made my mind up has to go by the end of the month.

For someone who can weld then I recon the structural areas could be sorted for £200 but the bodywork.....
If you can get south before the end of the month, to keep it simple the parts below are £10 each. .

Pair of Headlights & surrounds.
Grille
Louvred rear window.

If you want other parts/cuts when you collect we can agree a fair price.

It's a shame to break it (I have a real hangup about ruining old things that are complete).

Unfortunately it doesnt look like theres sufficient bits on it that would be transferable to or of use on mine, nor is it a project I'd favour over the one I've begun, to justify me taking it whole.

As it's running and MOT exempt it could still do a few seasons of shows as-is. People into the 'brickrats' look might appreciate it's very original condition. There's a 'brick rats' group on Facebook where someone might like it..

Depending on how things work out for you I'd still like that louvered rear window, and also headlights/surrounds and grille, and ask if you'll save those for me please, I'm south every so often so can call in

Yes mate £300 for everything bar the mirror arms, promised those to guz.
I would like to see the old girl on the road again, chassis and running gear are sound but she needs media blasting and a fair bit of welding underneath. plus door bottoms etc.
Failing that I'd like her to be usefull to other LT owners.
If you want to have a look and don't buy complete I have shed loads of cutting disks etc, so you can get the cuts etc you want.
Pics are below:-

Hi Andy, are you saying £300 for the van complete and it's drivable? if so, I likley would be up for that.

I'd be happy to share off (and perhaps deliver on my journey back to north Wales!) what I dont need with those that have already said here that they want bits.

I'm mostly after some cuts and to get myself a stockpile of general spares. And quite interested in those rear louvrewindows. If its in better nick than mine i might switch which vehicle i'm working on! If i dont take the van then maybe we can sort something out on those windows. You got a photo online somewhere you can point at? cheers
