Hi,

I have a 1981 LT 28  2.4 . Diesel
Over the years there have been some incidents where smoke and burning smells came from the fuse box. The problem has been fixed(see my other post) but ...
I would ideally like to replace the whole Fuse box relay plate and wondering if anyone knows where I may find one either second hand or new?

I also wish to replace the 3 fuses/relays on the left of the Fuse box. The grey one(K) , green one(Q1?) and to the left of that the black one
Anyone know what type I need to replace these with? serial numbers etc.  Where I could get them from?

I have this link but I struggle to understand it.

Any help advise would be greatly appreciated
Thanks very much!
Cheers Tim

You can get replacements but they will be a similar age, and may have similar issues.
You could try repair first.

Hi

Great job you did on your repair.
I wish I was capable of doing a repair like the ones in your photos but I have 2 left thumbs.

How about for replacing the 3 relays

I think they are :

P        443 911 261

Q1 .    281 911 251

K .     141 951 253b

Am I correct in these part numbers for my VW LT28 2.4 Diesel 1981?

Any ideas where I can source these from

cheers
Tm

Use Google, or whichever, to search the part number.
P - Glow plug relay - Brickwerks
Q1 - Starter Relay - Brickwerks
K - General purpose - 40A - Brickwerks, or any local car parts shop.

Email Brickwerks to check; Michael is very helpful.
