Hi everyone. Really struggling to find the answer to this. I currently have a 1.9DF in my 83 T3 which is on its last legs. I can get hold of a DG with all the ancillaries. Is it a straight swap or will I need to replace the wiring loom too. Cheers

A Df is the lower capacity horse power motor ,The Dg had more oomph . my bus has a Df fitted and it uses a solex carb rather than a pierburg .. wiring etc is all the same . You may want to swap the carb , but its a straight swap
