Hi all,

Have had a set of wheels sent over from Budapest!! Ronals nice wheels I was assured they would fit straight on as they were pictured on a T3  I went ahead
Problem is the offset is 35 fine if they bolt straight on but they will need 15mm spacers bringing the offset to 20! is this to extreme from the point of view of handling, Tyre/bearing wear?
Anyone running similar? can I put up with them?
Thanks

I'm running 25mm and 215s I wouldn't recommend it without power steering. No idea on wear yet although after about 3K they look fine.

if you mean you need to fit 15mm spacers to fit them which in turn will make the new et of 20 then you are moving the wheels further out of the bus - if they fit under the arches theres one problem sorted but you will shift the load to the outside of the centre of the hub which eventually wear out your bearings prematurely

What width are they?
Oettinger and Projektzwo both offered Ronal R9s in 7" width with a 23mm offset and 8" with 11mm offset both with TUV.

I'm running 16 x 7.5 et41 Merc alloys, I've had to use 15mm of spacers and longer studs, I think you'd get away with 10mm of spacers with your et35

are you sure the et on the wheels are right? unless there like 10 inches wide they should fit?
