I am looking for some 25mm 112 to 130 adapters however I am slightly confused (not hard for me I know!)

All the adapters I see are using bolts to attached to the hub then bolts to attach the rim.  However on my tintop the wheels are attached using nuts onto a thread that comes from the drum

Silly question I know but does that mean taking out the threaded bolts and using bolts for both wheels and adapters?

or chop the studs down (if necessary) and use your own nuts?

That wouldn't work as the threaded bolt would be in the hole I need t put the bolts.

Great - thank you booted
But £300+ for adapters!!!!!  Thats just insane - how is that justified?
Think I will sell the Porsche rims and save myself £600.

rear adaptors are held on with nuts and fronts are held on by bolts - porsche wheels are all held on the adaptors with bolts - no it really is that simple! Approve

They dont need to be justified. The price is what it is.

Buy em or dont. Theyre low volume specially designed and manufactured components specifically for one vehicle... if you want them to be cheap you'll be disappointed.

FK and H&R both do a 112 to 130 adaptor. you'll need about £100 worth of machining to get them to fit a T3 unless youre handy with a CNC mill. I think theyre about £130 a pair...

Or... if you want cheap, get some of the generic steel ones that are on ebay. They wont have studs attached so you'll need to try and support the wheel with no centre support whilst you get the bolt in, and likely have to replace the bolts that come with them for ones with the correct size head so you dont have to carry 2 wheel braces around with you... but if you want cheap theyre certainly that. Theyre also quite heavy but then if youre going for cheap that wont concern you.

So as far as "justification" goes thats it. Theyre there for people who like things that just fit and work.
Theyre not cheap. Some things arent. Its what they cost with a small profit margin to make it worth while for us investing thousands of pounds to have them sat on the shelf for those that do want them, when they want them.

Thank you eveybody for your input, I didn't mean to come across as rude - I was just surprised as to the cost.  I have no issue with people/companies making a margin and like many others I appreciate the design, time and effort that goes into aftermarket products such as this.  Thats what its is all about and I am sure your adapters are worth every penny if you are looking for the best out there.

I agree that FK are not worth a squirt however I have used HR on drift cars as well as currently on my wife's Porsche Cayenne with no issues whatsoever.

I am intrigued about the CNC machining that would be needed on the HR ones, is that the case with all adapters others than yours?

I saw some Cheapo Bulldog ones on fleabay (google them if you can be bothered) for £140 for 4 which describe them as plug and play for T3's, made out of decent lightweight high grade aluminium and a life time warranty.
