Not quite sure what that means but as long as it is accurate to within 0.01 mm it will be fine.

Be intrested in seeing it...the proper VW 285 tool is very expensive and sought after.

Will Show a picture...quite hard for me to describe it in english...should be anyway accurate enough to ensure a good adjustment.

Honestly, having the standard vw spacers to adjust the pinion position a minimum thikness  of 0,15mm, I don't think that having more than 0,05 accuracy is necessary...
