Good old switch but how good is your memory to remember to switch it?

Might wire it to the leisure as a future project... For now though, switch'll get me going. Eyeing up one that lights up red when it's on. Reckon I'll remember to switch that off!

Right then. Here's where I'm at:

Ignition does have an 'acc on' position which feeds the switched ignition live. BUT there seems to be a problem - the supply intermittently cuts out completely and randomly (but only to this one cable). So I need to replace the ignition switch, which is the most obvious culprit...

In the meantime I've bypassed the ignition and plumbed in an illuminated switch via the battery feed. It means I have to switch the power to the radio on separately even when the key's in the ignition and on, but it also means I can't forget to switch it off.

Current drain is down to 10mA with the new switch set to 'off'. That'll do me Thumbs Up
