I have a new shape T5 with colour coded bumpers, although I doubt that makes a difference. Where do you screw in the long threaded towing eye to the front? I have had every removable panel off the bumper, and looked in all the holes where you would expect to screw it in. I was even stuck in the snow on Monday with another T5 and he got a mate to tow him out and even he could not find where to thread it.

And it has a left hand thread too, just to further confuse things - something to do with ropes twisting and loosening normal (right hand) threads.

There ya go bud. Behind the cover for the drivers side fog light. Remember, left hand thread. 
I couldn't see the hole it went into, I just put it in the hole and wiggled it about a bit Wink. It soon found the thread and bolted in nice and snug.
