Not yet. I'm going to as well as felt and carpet it. Just booked it in for central locking and reversing sensors to be fitted this week too!

my next task is to do the doors and cab floor, the covering comes up easily enough which is a bonus!!

i just find it loud in comparison to the old westy which it will be with no soundproofing.

been looking at dynamat , bloody hell its expensive!!

may look for a similar product........

Try silent coat. I started with dynamat. But it's too pricey. Silent coat is v similar, half the price, gets good reviews and isn't bitumen based. Been as impressed with it as dynamat.

bit of an update....
Went to visit Rowlsley last month to fit the Reimo variotech rails

A fair bit of pondering and considering...

Then rails were cut and bolted through the floor with spreader plates. We used T4 rails trimmed down.

Big thanks to Dave - who did a great job

I got hold of a single passenger seat and base from a Sprinter and removed the double passenger seat

Seats are exactly the same apart from upholstery, but I'll be having all the seats reupholstered at some point anyway.

Anyone want to buy a double passenger seat?!

Insulated floor...

Si_Kaflexed (swear filter!) 15mm batons to floor

Layer of sound deadening stuff - silent coat

Followed by a layer of Thermowrap double-sided insulation, then a layer of chopped up camping mat - I picked up 6 mats off ebay quite cheaply.

Then another layer of Thermowrap on top of that!

Then floor ply cut to accomodate rails and refitted

Cheers, Yes eventually! Off to Ireland in it in 10 days! - so temporary make over with my pod from T4 and a few rugs! Having leisure batteries and split charge fitted next week hopefully. Also fully silent coated and insulated front doors and cab floor - made big difference  - definately getting quieter!

fairly easy - winder off first, handle clicks out with encouragement from screwdriver - be careful of the lugs on it could easily snap off. Two bolts out - lifts up.

Thermowrap on to back of door card. Silent coat inside door cavity - theres space in the bottom of door for some extra insulation - put some rubber sound proofing in there too! After a good dose of Wayoyl -  Doors sound proper now - no tinniness to the van at all
