Makes a brew and pulls up a comfy chair! Big smile

But to get things rolling - why you don't want a Hi-Top:

To make one of these:

Or one of these:

Or one of these:

And we're off...............................

for a vehicle soley used as a camper a hi top is the best. lots of permanent storage space.

if its a daily and used as a camper then a pop top makes a more useable vehicle for car parks etc

As wrong as a very wrong thing that's seriously mistaken.
Ok if there's only 2 of you or your children are not likely to grow much more than 3ft tall a high top is fine.
A week in Wales in the rain with a 13 & 14 year old and a Pop Top is the only answer, so there, ner ne ner ner I'm right again! Big smile

Hightop owners hit trees and bars....not the booze kind
I've had a lot of repairs to do from owners at

well, well, well... i asked this 18 months ago before i have bought my van and really is a dilemma. I love the pop top for the look, stability, commuting, versatility etc, etc, etc... However, if you do plan to camp in Jan / Feb in UK its fucking cold with the top up (even if you do have a pop top cover) and if its windy dont you fucking know about it! That's about the only time you wish you had a tower of Pisa high top ... Tongue... mmm I gues pop top all the way unless you have an OAP pass and are unable to get it up... Wink... laters dudes!

I prefer the pop-top because they look quite acceptable (close to a tin-top). High-tops are ill proportioned. Loads of room in the pop-top when popped out. If you sleep up top it has quite a romantic tent feel about it (as recently visualised by Elvis).
