If you're using LPG only, do you actually need the petrol carb? How about something like a BLOS carb for gas?
Mid engined, 6 cylinder, turbocharged 2 seater - it can only be a VW LT!

my first intention was to use only lpg, but theres to much paper work to change from dual fuel, to only lpg, whats why i need carb
i need to run on both of them :( to pass inspection (MOT)

some update on intake

enough space for tools

after final test ... there's no place for carb to sit on top :( and thres no way to mod engine cover, because passenger seat are to close to cover :(
so ended welding extension on side :/

i have leveled carb, its sits vertical in all directions
run out on shielding gas :(

need to weld intake ends and add vacuum fittings, throttle cable holder, put all bits like radiator and other stuff back and call it done :D

ok, bracket done, throttle cable done :D wooohooo :D

i bought 1.5 mm cable in home depot shoop
cable shield bought from bicycle repair shop, bicycle brake shield suits 1.5 mm cable, gear shield 1 mm
got cable end caps from shoop too
got gift from shoop, old cable tensioner works more than perfect

so theres the throttle cable setup
throttle cable

used simple screw, washer and peace of 8 mm air line as spacer, spacer lets whole "thing" to rotate and do not allows it to jam, to be on safe side put a drop of "unscrew liquid"

carb side
theres the bracket ant cable tensioner

used simple furniture insert somthing like that but not blinde http://www.efc-intl.com/products/efc-furniture/threaded-inserts-for-furniture/blind-threaded-inserts-lowest-profile-ak-type.htm its litlle bit smaler then hole in carb trottle plate, so its rotats free
made 2 mm hole

gearbox lowered (4 cm), sorry no photos, will try to make them tomorrow (family goes for vacation, so im left alone with LT, so only weather can ruin my plans now). Gears engage nicely now, befor that, there was major grinding on linkage to body, and it was very hard to put in gear

almost nothing left, need to put coolant expansion tank (got new, little bit smaller, hoping to attach it in original position, so it will be possible to monitor and maintain ir from engine cover "door"), fill coolant,  attach lpg hoses, and put air filter.

I hope i will test drive it by the friday (cross fingers)

now it fits, but hits gearbox bellhousing, hope heat will spread thru whole bellhousing and will not transfer to gearbox oil, otherwise i will need to weld whole new thing :( maybe i will do this on weekend, just need to source pipes
so basicly i haven't done nothin else :( sad

photos of gearbox brackets ( i know they look crappy, like all may swap:) )

u plan, god laughs...

on thursday got 2 hour operation,  my dentist found cyst under tuth :/  i love pain painkillers J

so done, nothing... due to operation specific i had to avoid any physical activity, but i cheated :D

bought drill machine, welded bolt on tube to fit temperature switch, which will operate electric fan automatically, then coolant temp reac 95 degree, and some mods  on audi fuel pump, and sourced oem coolant expansion tank, so no more thinking and rethinking on there to put it :D

job to do:

install fuel pump
connect fuel lines
buy and put coolant hose
recheck all cooling clamps
re check all wires
install air filter
install air hoses

hope to end that in next two days...
