anyone ever fitted a set of these on a T3?
ET may be slightly low at 28 i'm thinking, although only 2mm away from standard alloy et of 30
Might look a bit naff though.

Hi,I have just had this with the A4/S4 B8 wheels that I bought, they are 66.5 centre bore, apparently the centre bore changed in November 2007.I was expecting to have to machine them but either they had been done already or as when I looked into it they have infact changed the size to fall inline with Mercedes for some reason ? Not sure if this is standard across the range from this point though.

The offset is 56 so have used 20mm spacers and they are 17" x 7.5 wheels

When trying to fit them they didn't quite push back to the spacer so I got my router out and using a 10mm straight cutter machined the lip that holds the centre cap about 4mm deeper and they fit spot on now,I will have to find new centre caps anyway as the grease cap and castle nut stick out about 8mm too much.

so despite the wider bore, still can't escape a bit of machining... Cheers for the info

i know this ia an old thread now but has anyone else fitted a5 rim to a t3.
i have just got the other wheel for the set i was truing to complete,
ended up with
8.5x18 et 29 for the rears
8.0x18 et 47 for the fronts , hope to use a 15mm spacer on the fronts..
they look cool as they are the same wheel but the rears have more dish to them, not easy to spot at first. was a bit of a fluke. the pair of fronts came up together. then i bought an odd one that i though was the same. but ended up being wider and a nice offset.
just got another one to match it.

WHY T3's.... because they are just so adictive, and having one just aint enough
