Well my bosch plastic grey case has wait for it ...... BOSCH in big red letters emblased across it
O yea that pedulum thing is so the blade cuts in an arc so as to minimise the splintering of the stuff being cut.
Metal case indeed ... flash harry

This thread is very helpful at last I know what the pendulum cut is for and it’s nothing to do with clock making I thought I would post a “reader’s tool” picture as you can see my Chinese die-young assortment is framed by a bed of multi coloured cable ties and enhanced by 2 rolls of duck tape |

My jigsaw has it's own cardboard box! and a mind of it's own, fucks off and goes where it likes, goes up and down like a fiddlers elbow and has as much chance of going straight as a Liverpudlion on tag in Harrods with security on a day off !! |

I can not post any pictures of my tools as the police are still looking for them
Tell you what, you know nothing about jigsaws having their own minds and going where they want.
I have a feecking circular saw with a tooth missing from the blade, you want to try and tame that bad boy.

I use a Festool (for cutting laminate) on a rail cutting straight edges.
Bit dangerous I suppose as the rail isn't fixed down. And the blade is completely blunt which causes it to kick up ever now and then. Have to put a good forearm behind it.
