A couple of jobs done since i last posted. Failed its first mot the other week. Failed on brake lights only. I've owned it for about 5 years and it's been a very long process. It's not going to win any shows but i love it to bits.

Looks good, same colour as mine (which has also taken the best part of five year and also won't be winning any awards!! Is it fitted out in the back?
Too many projects..... Not enough time!

Cheers. I've got the majority of fixtures (rnr bed, fridge, sink / stove unit, cards) and I've insulated but it all needs putting together then carpeting. Next is to purchase the foam for the bed but i may have to set my son up with a paper round to help me out with that one . All been done on a mega tight budget really. Running a 1.9 dg which i had resealed when i got the van.

Sounds good, I had a set of caravan cushions from a scrapped one in my old panel. Cheap as chips and no VW scene tax!!

You could use a air bed until you get the foam.
I use a matress topper on top of the foam as my wife has a bad back.

Cheers. Could well do but of course the bed is the third seat meaning i need it fitted if I'm to take the wife too. Passed mot now. Been running it around and checking levels. Gradual loss of water but it's been too wet to do a proper leak check lately.

Didn't realise this thread was here!

My contribution.

It had 71k on the clock when I bought it 6 months ago and I've taken it off the road for a tdi swap and some off road tyres.

The plan is to turn it into a wild camping machine for touring Europe.

I love commercials, this is my other toy, though I have been contemplating selling it.
