Hmmm... Should have slept on it before my last post... So it's all very well talking about tones and stuff, but just saying 'twin tone' or 'single tone' doesn't differentiate between a good and bad note.

Does anyone know what the Stebel Nautilus sounds like? Is the mazda RX8 close?

To be honest - I am tempted by one on name alone!!Smile

Just make sure you keep it dry if you mount in the wheel arch where the original is/was located.
It will fail in weeks if it's subjected to excessive moisture & road grime Shocked
I made a couple of Housings/Covers from 5 litre Containers to protect em Thumbs Up

Thanks for the advice. Thumbs Up
Ditto thanks for the advice, I've just ordered one of these to replace the kermit one.
Bollocks to it all!!

Twin Tone: Two notes of different pitch sounding simultaneously, hence the name. If they both sounded the same, what would be the point? Wink

The thing is that it shouldn't be down to the MOT tester to decide what type of horn to pass/fail at MOT time. The types of horn that are legal or illegal will be stated in the Road Traffic Act or Construction & Use Regs. Do decibels come into the equation ie. excessively loud?
