since seeing yours ive chatted with my dad about doing one.
i fancy doing it more or less the same as yours but with a pop top type setup, and a full length luton.
dad has done some drawings..

got most of the aluminium panels off
 unit looks like a bomb site!
all the sides and back off then up on its side to remove all the gubbins underneath!
 hmmm blanc canvas for a trailer?
 and after a trip to the tip alls clear!
 just need a few blades for the jigsaw and we're off! quite excited now!

whats the pcd on the trailer ? I was trying to get a trailer axle running 5*112 so I could have matching wheels on my trailer but I couldn't find much around other than breaking a caravan..

they are not all like that..
my trailer that was one of those pop up ones rather than a caravan and that has a nice strong steel framed base.
