Norwegian and Swedish (and Dansih) are very similar languages and we can (normally :D) have conversations between us. Norwegian and Dutch are also similar, but I can only understand it when I read it.

Smile oh, youve got some stunning scenery thats for sure, ive been to denmark, years ago, it was ok,but rained all the time, i cant see the similarity between norwegian and dutch? just a word or two here and there, like the odd english word in scandiavian languages, i speak some dutch myself, but also find reading it easier, friesland dutch is very easy for brits to learn,as its basically old english, people say were lazy only speaking one language, but if norwegian was the international language, youd be lazy too, Big smile

Might be too late but I just found out there IS a boat still going between England and Norway. Immingham - Brevik is the route, its a ro-ro boat and takes a day and a half... Might even be quicker to take the ferry from Harwich to Esbjerg in Denmark.

Our meet is approaching and it looks like we'll be something around 10 cars :D Hoping for more!
