Very interesting.....just the lack of Split/Bay owners who've replied is good enough for me.

I guess they're all freezing their nads off in their lock-ups welding the bags of shite back together...again...in readiness for another year of hard shoulder motoring.

One who did manage to reply though...when his fingers had thawed out enough to type...made me chuckle when he got on about his tin top Bay...."It seats 8 in comfort (more comfortable on motorways than any other vehicle I've ever owned), will cruise all day at 50mph while doing 30mpg, has disc brakes and 50bhp."....

....need i say more.

Splits and to some extent bays are a bit too "form over function"

bays are just as bad chap....
i had to use my old early bay as a daily during the winter a few years ago ,kin hell mate was it cold ..
by the time id driven the half hour to work it was just about warm enough inside to stop ice from forming on the windscreen and rear view mirror.
never again.

T4`s for me.

There seems to be a large number of people turning to the darkside. T3`s as much as I love them are getting to expensive and the fact that getting genuine none messed with now is almost impossible I prefer risking the builders van route.

When I defected to the darkside last year all I got was "T4 why? " and its funny cus some of those that moked are now driving said vans!

I love the idea of a split/bay but don't want to look after it.

Might get one just for summer one day!

Shouldn't that be..."Might get one for just one summer day".....rest of the time it'll be broke down...again..or getting welded...again.
