Thanks to the info in this thread I bought:

Sportline Leather Gear Knob & Gaiter 7H0711113CQUN
Sportline 6 Speed Gear Knob Emblem 7H5711144D

I paid approx £40 for the 2 items, when I ordered both part numbers I was told "you don't need to order the emblem separately it comes with the gear knob and gaiter", so the following day when I went to pick the stuff up I wasn't too happy to find that I did need to order the emblem separately, so be warned!

Anyway, primary purpose of this post was to add the picture below that shows the items fitted to my T5, (there is a lot of requests for pictures of these in this thread!)

Rear number plate light  3B5 943 021 E .

Mine keep rusting and falling apart. Already had a new bulb holder/door handle fitted under warranty and now that one's leaking water in as well. I suppose I'll just have to keep stock of these instead .

Is that number for a single light fitting or for the whole of the black assembly above the number plate on a tailgate?

Just had a quote from the stealers for parts worth >£100 to fix one defective number plate light! I told them to stick with the day job & leave comedy to the comedians!

yep its just for one of the light fittings, looks like its another design fault then. Oh and there the same as a passat among others so you can get them from any Vw dealer.

£8.57 with the twat Ouch

My rear door handle is painted so I'd be looking at £200 to replace the lot, I'm goin to take it off and have a look to see where the water is getting in and maybe put in some silicon.
