Good news, AAZ in & running, tax brought & back on the road tomorrow.

However once the temperature gauge gets up to mid point, the little red light starts to flash. The gauge stays at mid point & does not go up any more, but the light continues to flash. The AAZ engine needed to be fitted as the JX engine was cooked when the hose on the return from the radiator came away from the pipe. Things got so hot that the pastic water housing on the engine melted. These I replaced, however the switches I did not.

Should I replace the switches? Which ones? Or does a water lever switch in the reservior control the little red light? Which switch controls the radiator fan to kick in?

I want replace the oil feed pipe to the turbo, does anyone know of anyone stocking these as I had to fabricate the last one?

If you need help with a mechanical cable let me know.

Try cleaning the contact pins on the level sensor. If they're not clean the sensor can't work.

If this doesn't work, temporarily connect the 2 pins of the plug together using a small piece of wire just to rule it out of the equation. If this fixes the light prob, either your sensor is faulty or your water level is low.
