Porsche 928 S4 wheels.

16X7 with 65mm offset on front with 225/50/16's
16X8 with 52mm offset on rear with 245/45/16's.
23mm adaptors from M7, then modded to accept porsche studs and nuts rather than threaded for bolts.
10mm spacers used up front, none at the rear. Sliding door clears no probs. No catching etc... even with a nutta like me driving!

Porsche 996 Classc 2's.

18X7.5 with 50mm offset on front with 225/40/18's.
18X10's with 65mm offset with 285/30/18's.
Same adaptors used as above.
23mm spacer used on the rear, no spacers used up front.

Both vans ran cut springs (couldn't afford lowered springs at the time) with no probs catching etc. I fitted rear suspension limiting stops to stop the arms coming down low enough to let the springs move out of place. Front shocks had the bump stops cut down by 2 lumps of rubber.

Design 90's come in the following sizes and offsets.

6X16 with 52mm offset

7X16 with 55mm offset

7.5x16 with 65mm offset

8X16 with 52mm offset

9X16 with 52mm offset.

The 6's, 7's and 8's (at the back only) will all fit onto the T3 with adaptors of or near 23mm.

I ran 16X8's with 52mm with 245/45/16's on my panel van and had no probs with the door clearning.

  • wheel name/style or if OEM then what its off. Wolfrace Slots bought for £40 from ebay. I've always wanted a frod escort that would suit these but then I found some for my van so bugger getting the frod.
  • Dimensions of wheel(s) 14x6
  • Tyre sizes. 185 14
  • Use of adapters. no
  • Use of shims. no
  • Machining required. no
  • Offset of wheel(s)
  • Clearance problems? none
  • Longer bolts required? yes Brickyards extra long ones just fit, these are very thick wheels.

(note to self, must get some black brake paint)

I'm waiting for the centre caps to arrive from ebay.

    Just fitted 17" Porsche Sportclassics:

Fronts are 7" with an offset of 52mm

    Rears are 8.5" with a 50mm offset

    Tyres are :
    255/40/17 on the rear
    205/50/17 on the front

    Adaptors are 22mm

These are the perfect size and offset combination (IMHO).
I still get a fat rear, but I dont have issues with the sliding door. And the fronts sit perfect with the edge of the arch.

    Porsche cup 2's

    7x17 front ET55
    9x17 rear ET55.
25mm spacers, 30mm drop, no clearance issues.
Bit close on the rears to the spring tower, I would say about 7mm clearance.
Very close to sliding door, infact the tyre rubs on the door when opening!

    Porsche Carrera 4s.

    Front:

    7x17

    ET55

    205/50/17

    35mm H&R adaptor/spacer

    Rears:

    9x17

    255/45/17

    25mm H&R adaptor/spacer.

    Dropped standard multivan 30mm.

No rubbing and no clearance issues. Sliding door skims past the tyre. Phew!

    2001 Boxster rims

    7J at the front running 205/50 ZR17 - ET 55

8.5J at the back running 255/45 ZR17 ( I think without double checking) ET 50

Running 25 mm adaptors on a 60mm drop. No issues on the front. At the back the sliding door opens if you manipulate the door manually. I have currently taped the bottom of the door in case I forget. I think if I adjust the slider mechanism, I may get away without a wider hinge.
