6.5 x 16 Granada Wheels
Front tyres 195/60/16 99 load rating
Rear tyres 205/60/16 102 load rating

used standard nuts and bolts, no spacers, no extended studs

I did buy Sharan bolts as per recommendation but found standard bolts had bigger seat

Had to widen centre bore on front wheels slightly with a file

Here is my setup, on my 1990 T3 Van (Motley)

I have porsche boxster rims

17"  Front 7J  with ET55 and running 205,50,17 tyres
17"  Rear 8.5J with ET50 and running 255, 40, 17 tyres

I used FK PCS adapters as they were cheap, but not sure that was my best decision,  as had to fettle the front stub axle as adapter wouldn't slide on also had to remove grease hubs.
So buy the more expensive H & R ones...

25 MM on front
20 MM on rear

Slding door opens with out problem, (I have carpet on slding door panel and this touches the tyre wall, but doesn't touch the wheel itself), Works quite well stops the slding door from shutting when not fully open.

No problems with any touching on front.

I have the 60mm drop (JK springs) although it has only just been done so suspect it will settle some more, but as yet no problems.

The wheel and tyre combo make a much harder ride, and slightly heavier when trying to do the 9 point turn I have to do to park in our office car park!! but good for the guns!!
Overall handles better and looks great (in my opinion)

Hope that helps

Hi I thought as I used this very thread to sort out what to do with my van, if throw my pennies worth in. Here goes
Wheels Mercedes Toliman 16 x 7 Et 37
Tyres 205/60/16 extra load rated 96
Front 6mm Spacers with stud conversion 50mm
Rear 10mm Spacers with longer studs 50mm

Suspension is lowered with H+R 50mm drop and leveling shims on the heavy side (left).
I have a slight rub on the right front wheel arch outer lip which I'm hoping to rectify by swaging the inner lip to clear, but it only occurs when putting that wheel up a curb first with the wheel turned to the right.
Rear wheels will take the original center caps. The front ones still won't take the caps even after machining the hub grease covers down a bit (5mm). I will resolve this though.

Hello VW friends!
I have just brought Mercedes CL600 AMG Barbus wheels to fit to my 1986 T3. Firstly not sure if they will fit without driving and handling issues? The wheels are 18" x 8" front and 18" x 9" rear.
The wheels have an ET45 so I assume will need adaptor plates. Does anyone know of the correct size adaptor plates and studs. Also where I can buy them?
I will need to get heavy load tyres to fit on the wheels and don't know what size or where to get them, has anyone brought heavy load tyres to suit this size in the past? I was thinking as they came off of a huge and heavy CL600 that standard CL600 tyres may be acceptable?
I have also heard I may require ad extended sliding door rear hinge. Is this correct and if so does anyone know where I can locate one?
Any help would be gratefully received as I want to make sure I can fit them before looking into buying tyres.
Cheers matt

BMW E46 OZ racing alloys 40ET, 7" wide on 15mm adaptors running 225/50 17 run flats part worn off our E60 520d on the front, new 225/50 17 on rear all 98 load rated so good for weight, Tyre size is cheap as all mid sized cars seem to fit them. Clears rear door no problem. machined hubs and 312mm discs will add about 8 mm to track but it looks ok

Now i`m pretty happy with my wheels that i`ve got fitted, thought i`d stick up a pic -

Porsche Cup Repros in 5 x 112 fitment
    5 x 112
    7J
    ET 35
5mm spacers on the front (you could get away with none, but clearance is about 2mm!)
    245 40 17 Tyres front and back
    Longer Rear Studs
