16" PENTA (Merc)

Front:

8x16

Bolt holes drilled to 14mm and radiused seat

T4 Bolts

6mm spacers (from machine7)

ET?

225/50/16 tyres

Lowered 60mm

Clearance issues: Brake calipers foul wheel without spacers and trye hits arch when the suspension bottoms out!

speedo is slightly out (225/55/16 tyres would sort it)

Rear:

8x16

Bolt holes drilled to 14mm and radius seat

LT35 studs

10mm spacers (from machine7)

ET?

225/55/16 tyres

Lowered 60mm

No clearance issues but the slider does hit the tyre

The rear arms have been slightly reworked due to clearance problem.

Right, loads of what fits what doesn't questions at the moment.

Only reply to this thread if you have fitted alloy wheels and you have the following data.

  • wheel name/style or if OEM then what its off.
  • Dimensions of wheel(s)
  • Tyre sizes.
  • Use of adapters.
  • Use of shims
  • Machining required.
  • Offset of wheel(s)
  • Clearance problems?
  • Longer bolts required?

Plus anything else I forgot!

Pictures would be nice.

All dross and drivel will be deleted! - Keep it optimum!

Also worth a read

And - Wheelspecs.com

And - Tyresave.co.uk

Try using forum search facility using "wheels" and "alloys" too!
