Hi all,
I've looked on a few websites but cannot find a replacement for the small side window that came off on the m5 never to be seen again- any ideas? |

are any of the fastening still there ? you could make one out of 10mm perspex if the hinges are there , you will need catchers , or measure it up trawl through ebay's caravan windows

Nope! All that is left is the seal and the strut (minus thread).

Have a look in your local yellow pages for a small business/one man band windscreen business (not your big national types). They should be able to help. I had to have my windscreen taken out and put back in for some welding and the guy I used was half the price of the national chains. I also got him to replace one of my big opening windows for one piece of glass as it was leaking badly.
If they can't source a replacement for your window he can put a laminated piece of glass in instead possibly using the same rubber, if not using the claytonrite system.
To take my windscreen out, come back and fit it and supply and fit a laminated piece of glass 1150mm x 470mm was £90 (couple of years ago). I doubt he travels as far as you but i'll mention his name because he was very helpful and did a top job. http://steveswindscreens.co.uk/Van-conversions-Somerset.html . After googling his name he now does van window conversions. Edited by volition82 - 17 Apr 12 at 11:46 |

Hi Beetroot
Did you have any luck with Eeco? If they can make a top window I would be interested in getting one too as I currently have a perspex sheet in one of my windows! They might be slightly cheaper if they are making two of them. Neil
