hi all just bought 1996/97 lt40 2.4td panel van ,cant seem to find what offset the wheels are ,I know they are 5x130 with 83mm centre bore but cant find et anywhere .can anybody help please ,thankyou

LT1 are 5x160, so you may have a LT2.

or I may have got it wrong lol its a 1997 registered on v5 "p" reg lt40 2.4td flat front old style not sprinter type shape .are the wheels 5x160 then and what s centre bore and et offset ?? thanks ,new on forums and don't know how to download photo

is it not possible to use mk6 transit wheels ? this was registered on 25th February 1997 .it comes up as lt35e on dvla check .is this correct ?? what does the e mean ?? I thought it was an lt40 but now unsure .any help ??

It's not an LT40 (4000 kg max weight), LT35E means 3500 kg max and the E means single rear wheels. The badge on the front is a clue Wink

I think production stopped on 1996, so yours must have sat around for a while before being registered.
Mid engined, 6 cylinder, turbocharged 2 seater - it can only be a VW LT!

yeah realised its not lt40 ,badge does gite it away ,I had shiny van syndrome when I went to view and he said lt40 lol not worried anyway
