Ok I am about to pack it all in, sell up and by a sprinter. I am sooo busy but my van is sooo slow.
Sinse fitting my off road 16"s the van has been transformed. It is amazing off road. But now even slower than it was. It is the non turbo - infact the lowest powered model. I wat a D24T engine. Could someone conclusively tell me which volvos have these - can't find any useful posts other than speculation. 940 I know but any others? And has anyone an idea of what a garage would charge for such a swap? Must be a few mechanics on here - what would you charge? I recon I could take it on but am worried about time and lack of tools. So might work out chaeper to pay out. Thanks people, Tom |

yeah a good read - thanks.
Well I have sent out a find it for a D24T with no luck - must be cheaper than finding an LT turbo lump... even on ebay there arn;t as many turbo diesel volvos going for scrap / spares than i'd have thought. Maybe a trawl round the scapys? |
