engine life of a well maintained AAZ

   I have heard a lot about the 1Z maybe 400,000 km
But what about an AAZ, are they just as bomb proof

Does anyone know or have a personal experience?

	We had a cy 1600 td that did 362000 miles before the mileometer broke then a year later our son crashed it,it was in a Passat going up and down to London every day and had a full VW service history up to 275000 miles serviced every 5000 miles
