I had to drill out my Mercedes AMG wheels out by 1mm, I just used an electric drill, put the wheel flat on the floor and drilled away!! No wheel wobble perfect fit, go for it!

ive done both..
if you can use/get access to a big pillar drill then its easier as they can be run at a lower speed.
ive done it with an air drill this is good again as you can often get them running slow.

but its is possible with an electric drill. if yours has a speed setting thn set it to its lowest, if you have deep hole merc rims (the ons that need the silly long bolts) then let the drill cool down enough betwen holes

WHY T3's.... because they are just so adictive, and having one just aint enough

Ive done it a few times with an electric drill.
Theres no big problem as the taper of the end of the bit will centre in the hole thats already there.
And the wheel centres on the bolt seat anyway, not the part that passes through the hole.

Did you have to do anything fancy to maintain the right countersink?

Dues anyone know where to find the press in inserts when the rims have to be drilled with a much bigger PCD? Sorry to slightly hijack the thread.
