ok, bit of a hopes up subject sorry but i read something the other day on samba about fake fiberglass replica arch kits.
does anyone on here know a good glassman that could knock up a set of moulds, i would imagine i`m not the only one that would like a set and i`m suprised it hasn`t been brought up before.

i know fiberglass is pretty naf compared to the proper stuff but at the right price i`d deffo be interested.

what do ya think guys.

not a clue, will make a call tomorrow and see how many we have to order - they will be in a tough rubber - which should be ideal.

mine wont be comming off till next winter. having them done in rubber would be well cool.

do you think there`d be enough interest in this to make it happen. would be nice to have some of these difficult to sorce parts reproduced.

there easy to reproduce someone just needs to put up some money to pay for the tooling set-up,and dont forget to add some kind of fastener this is the tricky bit,cj.

ok this is starting to look like a viable project.
My client is interested and if I can get a good set of pics will give me an idea of the cost to tool up and then the cost per set thereafter.
So, stick your names down on here and let's see if we can make it work.

will they be designed the same as the 16" ones.. ie will you still need to cut away the bottoms of the arches?

if people are after them for the look then the fronts would be better based on the easier to fit post buss arch.
WHY T3's.... because they are just so adictive, and having one just aint enough
