Hi There

Although I have owned a T4 Caravelle 2.5 TDI Auto (2002) 102 BHP for a couple of years and this is my second I have never really immersed myself with all the other lucky people who own them.

Hello All!

Anyhow I currently have my Velle for sale but something is making me think  don't sell and do an engine swap, I don't mean tuning or whatever I mean a genuine "put something stupid in it" swap?

I am drawn to the Volvo D5 unit with an auto box, mostly because they are 5 cylinder, front wheel drive and long lived and you can get the various power outputs.

Any thoughts or sharp intakes of breath are greatly appreciated.

Ben

I think people put the 1.8T in ( can reliably get to 250bhp) or they did come with the v6 lump, so parts should be available?

Sell your TDI (How much are you asking), and get the VR6. Save a lot of bother.
